On Friday, June 27, in Madrid, CONFICERT attended, by invitation from the Woman Forward Foundation, the awards ceremony for the III Ranking of Companies for Equality 2025, an initiative that seeks to recognize organizations that integrate equal opportunities as a strategic axis of their management.
The event featured prominent personalities such as Mirian Izquierdo, president of the Foundation; Mónica Suárez, Manager of the Business Club; and María Guijarro Ceballos, Secretary of State for Equality. Representing CONFICERT were Daniel González (CEO of CONFICERT), Matías Romero (president of CONFICERT and CEO of ACERTA Certification), and Mónica Aguilar (Manager of Institutional Relations and Marketing at ACERTA).
During the event, data reflecting a concerning reality were shared:
- 31% of obligated companies have still not registered their Equality Plan.
- Only 22.6% of positions on the boards of directors of Ibex 35 companies are held by women.
- Two out of three men maintain negative perceptions towards women in work environments.
- 57% of women workers report low work energy, a sign of professional burnout that affects performance and well-being.
In this context, the Woman Forward Foundation presented its proposal to measure the return on investment in equality as a way to demonstrate its profitability and strengthen its integration into business models.
At CONFICERT, we reaffirm our commitment to equal opportunities by actively fostering equitable, inclusive, and diverse work environments. We firmly believe that equality is not only a matter of social justice but also a driver of sustainability and business competitiveness.
Therefore, we support initiatives that promote female leadership, encourage shared responsibility, and eliminate structural barriers limiting equitable access to decision-making positions. Likewise, we work with strategic partners to develop tools that measure the real impact of equality in business management, helping to transform this commitment into a tangible and sustainable advantage.
